Hi, I’m Kelie, and I’m so happy you’re here!

My heart has always been drawn to animals, but birds have a special way of touching my soul. It all began with Birdie, a beautiful spirit who unexpectedly came into my life and opened my heart to the wonders of the bird kingdom. He filled my days with love, joy, and peace—a true kindred soul who showed me the wisdom, resilience, and brilliance of birds. Though he’s no longer here in physical form, his presence is always with me.

My journey with birds continued as I cared for a beloved backyard flock of chickens and guinea fowl for over a decade, learning so much from their gentle ways and lively spirits.

Now, I have the privilege of volunteering at Wildside Rehabilitation and Education Center, where I offer a helping hand to birds of prey and receive lessons of trust, strength, and grace in return.

Most recently, Prince, a sweet and gentle ring-neck dove, has come into my life, sharing his beautiful songs, quiet wisdom and deepening my connection to the beauty of these feathered beings.

Birds have been some of my greatest teachers, filling my life with love, wonder, and a sense of peace that I cherish every day.
